Pindi Possums Community Playgroup
The Pindi Possum Playgroup meets every second Tuesday (even weeks) from 9 to 10:30am, throughout the school term. It is a great place to meet other parents of young children, with engaging arts and craft activities for children of all ages.
Membership to playgroup is free and we ask for a gold coin donation towards art and craft resources used in the sessions.
Everyone with children aged between 0-4 is welcome. Please contact the school or come along to the next session if you have any questions.
Updates are posted on the Pindi Pindi State School Facebook page.
Pindi Pindi Parents & Citizens Association
The Pindi Pindi Parents and Citizens' Association (P&C) is a very important body of people vital to the functioning of the school. All members of the community are invited to attend meetings held on Thursday of week 2 and 8. As a member of the P&C you have the opportunity to be involved in the decision-making process of our school.
One of the primary roles of the P&C is improving the learning environment for students by enhancing facilities, adding resources to the school and providing opportunities for our students. Over the past few years, the P&C has initiated and funded projects such as:
- Classroom iPads
- Innovative seating
- Rewards Day Activities
- School Camps
- Cultural and wellbeing activities
- New uniforms for every student
- New playground
The main fundraising projects the P&C is involved in are:
- The Biggest Morning Tea
- Calen Fishing Competition
