It is the policy of the school, endorsed by the Pindi Pindi P&C association, that the school uniform is the mandatory dress code of the school. A dress code tells the students and the parents what clothing must be worn by students while attending, or representing the school. This may include headwear, footwear and other personal appearance items such as jewellery and hair styles.
All students are expected to comply with the student dress code. Any variation or incorrect apparel will require an explanatory note from parents or carers. If no such note is provided students may receive a letter home indicating that the uniform policy has not been adhered too. This will be recorded as a contact in the student's OneSchool profile.

Other Requirements
As a Health and Safety requirement within the department all students are required to wear closed in shoes at all times. Students are able to wear plain studs or earrings, however necklaces, bracelets, large earrings and rings can easily be caught on playground equipment or become a choking hazard.
Queensland state schools are committed to reducing the distraction of mobile devices to provide optimal learning environment. Therefore, it is recommended that students do not bring a smart watch or other devices such as tablets/mobiles to school. However, if required smart watches and phones must be left at the school office during school hours with the notifications turned off. This assists with social interactions, and optimal teaching environment; and the safety of your student's equipment.
Hair below the shoulders should be tied back to safety, and to lower the risk of head lice.
